Memories from 2018 – Recap series (May)

Top post on IndiBlogger, the biggest community of Indian Bloggers

The last couple of posts featured my favorite moments from January, February and March, and April. Today, I talk about my most precious memories of May.

MAY

Celebrating my birthday with the family
Celebrating my birthday with the family

The most special aspect of May has always been the fact that it is my birthday month. To date, I feel excited as a child whenever my family or friends organize a surprise party or I am showered with surprise gifts. This May, I was on a short trip to my hometown Berhampore. Celebrating my birthday with my father and marital family together on 29th May made this birthday a little more special.

I will always cherish May 2018 as the month of my debut as a published author. On 22nd May 2018, my first novella Deal of Death, a detective thriller was launched on the Blogchatter platform. The novella went on to become the most downloaded e-book of this season, earning some great reviews and ratings. While the book has been out of stock on Blogchatter since July, I intend to bring it out as a novel on Amazon by the first quarter of 2019.

Overall, I can say that May has been one of the most fulfilling months this year, both personally and professionally.

Stay tuned to know why I love June but wish to delete July 2018 from my life in my next post on 20th Dec.

  1. I have read your book, Sonia and how I loved it. The character Raya Ray will always be etched on my mind, a brave lady detective. Apart from Nancy Drew and Jane Marple, we don’t have many of them. Truthfully I am looking forward to the next edition.
