H for Humorously Yours & Vipul Goyal

‘Humorously Yours’ is a hilarious web series from the TVF group that tracks the life saga of a stand-up comedian played by Vipul Goyal and Rasika Duggal enacting the role of his wife, Kavya. In the second season of this web series, we find a relatively famous Vipul playing the double role of the stand-up comedian and his imaginary manager, Ranjit Walia. How he commits a mistake and escapes unscathed is shown through subtle humor and relatable characters in the series.

Over time, I found that their YouTube channel by the same name had a handful of stand-up comedy videos by the funny Vipul Goyal. He manages to make the audience laugh out loud with his humor that draws huge inspiration from the simple things of life. At times he is also found taking a jibe at the current stifling environment in the democracy without getting offensive about issues. A special mention to his voice and unique dialog delivery (there’ an uncanny resemblance to the Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt) that tops the humor quotient. Lastly, he belongs to the rare breed of Indian stand-up comedians who stick to non-abusive language while spreading happiness through his shows.

  22. I saw few stand-ups by Vipul today only and enjoyed it fully with a burst of great laughter. His comic bought me back to your blog in search of more artists and saw his name. I earlier thought Vipul was saved for letter V but was glad to find him in Humorously H. Now curious to see what in V. He is a great artist even one of his shows of babies and adults I showed to my teenage kiddo and he too enjoyed it a lot. Although before showing him I had to watch it first hand, but worth a watch and worth a laugh.
