This is the post excerpt.

Writing is something that I thought I would get back to once I had some spare time. Two masters degree followed by corporate jobs and job changes in the banking sector didn’t leave much time to pursue my passion. Two years back when my son was born, I decided to take a sabbatical. Having lost my mother in Nov 2011,just five months within my marriage, I never let my emotions cope up with this irreversible loss. Only when I became a mother, did I realize how difficult the journey of motherhood can be both emotionally and physically. To cope up with my emotions ranging from extreme sorrow to utmost happiness, I started penning them down through words and that’s when I realized how cathartic it was. In my blog, I would cover my journey through memories and nostalgic moments. There will be occasional movie reviews and issues that resonate with me. Welcome to my journey. Her book ‘Diary, Deceit, and Death’ was shortlisted for the PVLF Awards 2024-25 in the Best Fiction Category. Sonia lives in Kolkata with her doctor husband and nine-and-a-half-year-old son.

  3. u post such a big thing with just few words in such a better way. I always tried to write something bt I failed all the tim. Bt I must say u r my insrpiration in every field.
