A few moments captured from my panel discussion at the Kolkata Crime Writers Festival

What an evening it was as I shared the stage with the stalwarts of the Bengali movie and OTT industry – Ms. Ananya Chatterjee (actress), Mr. Padmanabha Dasgupta (screenwriter) and Mr. Joydeep Mukherjee (Director) at the Kolkata Crime Writers Festival!

It was a real pleasure to moderate the session on ‘Books to Screen’ and hear their success stories along with what goes behind the screens.

It’s been quite a while since I used both Bangla (primarily) and English for discussions but the flow of conversation was so seamless that I could effortlessly switch between both languages.

Handing over my books to each of them personally in the presence of my father and son would always be the most special moment from last evening.

Khushi Rungta and Shreemanti Chakrabarty of Kolkata Bookworms made the evening extra special by gifting my book ‘Diary, Deceit and Death’ to the winner of the Crime Writing Workshop.
