Batchmates – friends – best friends – boyfriend/girlfriend – spouses – daughter+son-in-law/son + daughter-in-law – parents – the final acceptance of the truth that no one can tolerate us 365 days except each other because we are annoying of the same level.
That’s the trajectory of our story. 14 years of being officially married to this man I have danced with on the streets during Durga Puja and walked with to get fit. Less coffee, more black tea; less conversation, more responsibilities ; less travel, more commitments – that’s how life has been for a while now. But like always, thou shall continue to irritate me and I shall continue to get on your nerves.
Here’s to many more years of love, partnership, arguments, support and having each other’s back.
