The mandatory Saraswati Pujo rituals every year where the kid assists his Dadan in its preparation and during the puja. Since all the books are in front of the Goddess, it gives him the perfect excuse to spend the day with his cricket bat and ball. God save the house now.
Like every year, the kid’s books, books on writing (mine), medicine (husband’s) and Mathematics (Baba’s) occupy the major space in front and beside the Goddess. But this year, two new books have been added to this pile – books written by me. It gives me immense joy to see ‘Diary, Deceit and Death’ and ‘The Sanyasi who became a King’ here. May this be the beginning of many more books to come.
Happy Saraswati Pujo and Vasant Panchami to those who celebrate.
