Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge – Letter X

This is the first time that I am participating in Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge. This is part of the Alphabet with a twist series and the rules state that X needs to be anywhere in the word or the primary photo subject needs to be shaped like the letter X. My twenty eight month old son has recently been introduced to alphabets. He is just not fond of maintaining the correct sequence in getting to know the alphabets. He simply chooses an alphabet as per his preference based on either color or shape.

This evening when I was mentioning the uniqueness of this photo challenge to my husband, I was surprised to see my toddler pick up the letter ‘X’ from his alphabets set to hand it over to us. As I captured his moment of excited participation through my lens, it was also a sad reminder of the fact that he is indeed growing up too fast way too soon.
